  1. the content on the homepage were little hard to see except the title; even the titles looked a little bit clutter. how about different color for each title?

  2. Hey Amber,
Hope you are doing well. I want to say first of all, that it was a good idea to narrow down your project to one age group. I like how you incorporated questions onto the main page. It helped me get a really quick idea of what this project is about.
I agree with Yohan on the color palette. I like the black background, but perhaps making the titles neon green, so it's not white titles on white text. The green is really eye catching, and you look to that first when opening the page.
My other suggestion is to rename the "Trust and Monitor Policy" to just "Trust Policy" or simply "Policies" because the 3 lines of text feels out of balance.

  3. i can read much better!
now, about the video on the homepage; did you try to upload an actual video? it would be a problem if it's cut off like what it shows there.

i heard youtube videos can be custom sized, but i don't know about others.

  4. Hi Amber, I really like your colors, the site is very edgy! But I hate to say it, it was still somewhat difficult for me to read. Maybe if you bolded the white text it would be easier to read?
The other thing I noticed was that your Classroom Projects page needed a little proof reading. A few typos that I caught were:
    make's-should be makes
In "how many students are in your class" and "How to Create your Classroom Project" - the r was left off so it says you

You are off to a good start!

  5. Thanks for all your input. A second, third, fourth pair of eyes on this assignment is really helpful.

  6. Hey Amber how are you doing?

I like the color scheme, but it is unbalanced and all on the left side of your page. That is what makes it squished.
    Over all, great start!

  7. I like your GLP. It is well put together. Just a few notes, your email address on the vidoes was too bright to make out. They would have to listen to the video a couple times to hear you say it. Also you have to have a free Weebly account to be able to participate in your forums. I tried to join, but couldn't find the link. It was probably me not looking in the right place. I love you helpful link page and I may glean that from you to make it a seperate page. Over all great start!!! I am going to paste this email on your PLS, too!

I spent some time on your site this afternoon. I love your project idea. I like the style of your font and your template. I like how the sub-menu options come out towards the middle when you hover over the menu buttons. A few suggestions to consider-I realize at this point-much of this is our preference.

**Timeframe-you are very vague on the time frames-that might be harder to share with each class if they are on different timelines. Also-how long do you anticipate that a teacher should allow for Individual Projects ? Class Projects?

**Standards-you might consider putting standards as a subpage under Teachers, vs scrolling all the way down-plus it will be easier for a teacher to Navigate-what if I was looking and I just wanted a quick glance at the standards-but I don’t see a menu option for them…

**You might consider pulling the Teacher Page out and making it one of you main buttons vs. having it under Join.

**On the Teacher Page-How to get started you reference that the teachers will want to check with their “Check you district and school policies, to ensure you won't get in trouble.” I know we want our teachers to follow their policies-I just thought the wording might be more professional-versus sounding like they will get sent to the principals office

**I noticed that you have the colors of the headings in different colors-I realize again that this might just be a personal preference, but I find that distracting-maybe pick 1 or 2 colors for the headings and be consistent-the consistency is important.

Well-there is my 2 cents again I love the Black theme and the GLP Concept!
